Willow Blooms

Writing for Wellbeing

Willow Blooms offers therapeutic writing workshops and group experiences that support reflection, meaning-making, and emotional wellbeing through creativity.

I work with creativity, poetry, literature, and reflective writing to support people to find their own path towards greater wellbeing, insight, and understanding. Groups will be advertised here, and they can also be shaped collaboratively.

If you have an idea for a group theme, or would like to explore a co-created or a team-based writing experience, you’re welcome to click on the link above to discuss what might be possible.

A Therapeutic Foundation

For some people, traditional talk therapies don’t feel like the right fit, or don’t capture how they process their experiences. Willow Blooms is grounded in the idea that creativity, through writing and space for reflection, can offer a different, but still therapeutic, way of making sense of experience, particularly within group or shared settings.

Many writing groups are led by experienced writers. My work is grounded in clinical psychology, drawing on evidence-informed approaches to support exploration, meaning-making, and well-being. I’m here to support this work in ways that are collaborative, meaningful, and safely held. This can be offered as a stand alone group, or thoughtfully integrated into psychological therapy where appropriate.

Themes I’m especially interested in are transition, identity, belonging, nature, and life cycles. I’m here to support you in a different, but still therapeutic way using writing as another way in.
